Lily Gillman

Hi, my name is Lily Gillman, I am part of the reception staff at Movenetics Physiotherapy.

I am currently attending the University of Alberta to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology majoring in Sport Performance. Upon completion, I hope to go on to obtain my Masters in Physiotherapy to become a physiotherapist! I would like to work and help in this field as I grew up on the patient side.

For 15 years I pursued ballet and modern dance professionally in both Calgary and New York City. During my dancing career I dealt with numerous injuries that paused my ability to dance. If it wasn’t for the physiotherapists, chiropractors and personal trainers I worked with my career in dance would have been much shorter. Ballet and Modern Dance will always hold a special place in my heart and I want to pursue Physiotherapy to give back to the performing arts community.

When not in the clinic or studying I teach ballet and contemporary classes, spend time with my family and friends, take my dogs for walks, and try to remain as active as possible!
